Warminster is situated in the county of Wiltshire, approximately 20 miles from Bath and Salisbury and close to the border with Somerset.
For those arriving by public transport, Warminster Rail Station is situated on the Cardiff-Bristol-Portsmouth rail line which operates approximately every hour – click here for train times). Westbury and Frome rail stations are also near by and these are served by our free bus services throughout the day of our event. On Weekdays, ordinary bus services operate regularly to surrounding towns and villages but only run to/from Trowbridge and Bath on Sundays (please visit the Traveline website for more details).
For those travelling by car, the town is located at the junction of the A36 and A350 and is near to the infamous A303 ! Because our event occupies most of Warminster’s Central Car Park, we recommend anyone arriving by car to use the other public car parks in the Town Centre, as shown on the plan below.
Alternatively, why not drive to one of the surrounding towns and travel to Warminster on one of our free feeder services. These are expected to operate from Bristol, Bath, Chippenham, Melksham, Trowbridge, Westbury, Frome, Radstock, Midsomer Norton, Gillingham, Mere, Amesbury and Salisbury and timetables for these routes will be shown on our “feeder bus” page one month before the event.
